Holy COVID shenanigans Batman! What are the Life Matters ‘Rona Rules’? We will update them regularly right here. Unsure about something? Check back here or ask Kez.

If you become a casual contact

Like…if you get one of those text message thingies from Coles or you’ve been close to someone whose tested positive. You can still work at the office, but monitor your symptoms, wear a mask & social distance!

If you become a close contact

If someone you live with gets COVID, inform your supervisor, work from home, & isolate for 7 days from the last time you were in contact with the COVID-positive person. EVEN IF you have just completed your own isolation period, living with someone who is diagnosed with COVID means you must also complete a 7 day isolation period again. Take a rapid antigen test (RAT) on day 7 & if it is negative, you can leave isolation after 7 days

If you find out you’re COVID positive

Inform your supervisor and Kerrie only, stay at home for 7 days, if you’re well enough & there is work for you, you can continue to work from home. You can use your sick leave if you are feeling unwell. Only once you’ve completed your isolation period and are no longer exhibiting any symptoms, can you return to work.

If a client or staff member become COVID positive

We’ll follow our pandemic policy and health guidelines. We’ll clean the office, pop everyone into the health risk matrix & inform those who need to know what they need to do. Once the office is cleaned, people can return.
