Baz is a Registered Psychologist with several years of Clinical experience. His particular interests and skills lie in helping people of all ages to better understand who they are, what they are not, and how to make the most of their strengths. Baz has a keen interest in neurodivergence (such as autism and ADHD), as well as other individual factors that lead us to feel different from others, and he works hard to destigmatise labels.

Baz enjoys helping people to manage anxiety, OCD, depression, adjustment difficulties, stress, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, and recovery from trauma. He has experience supporting a wide range of presentations whilst working in Acute Mental Health, Child and Family Counselling, Out of Home Care (OOHC), and private clinical practice.

Baz is committed to providing effective, evidence based, practical and realistic interventions for a broad range of clinical presentations. He works in a range of modalities including, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapies, DBT and RO-DBT. Baz understands the need to adapt his approach to fit each new person, and he enjoys helping people find new and improved perspective.

Baz believes that learning should be a lifelong pursuit and is strongly motivated to help people see and reach their potential. He is committed to reflective practice and ongoing professional development, continuously seeking new skills and ideas, and links between common therapies that improve the usability and understandability of psychological support.

Baz completed Graduate and Postgraduate Diplomas at the University of New England, with a prior degree from Macquarie University. He is a registered Medicare and Workcover (SIRA) Provider and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc.
