Kaine is a Registered Psychologist who loves helping people navigate the social and emotional aspects of life. He has experience working with kids, teens and adults.

Kaine has a warm and playful manner and integrates this into his therapy. He has a particular passion for managing the social-emotional and learning needs of children and young people so they can reach their full potential and develop the social and emotional skills they need to feel confident and resilient.

Kaine has worked with client behaviour related to ODD, OCD ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Trauma and Anxiety just to name a few. His preferred methods of therapy include CBT, ACT, Mindfulness and Internal Family Systems.

Kaine’s specific skill set includes psychometric tests of intelligence, adaptive behaviour, learning and academic achievement as well as school-based learning and behaviour support collaboration.

Kaine has an interest in developing his experience in intervention for clients with depressive symptoms and, learning and behavioural difficulties.

Kaine also facilitates Boss Brain, a 10-week digital program that uses bio-feedback technology to help kids and families navigate their brain and emotions and form meaningful family connections.

He completed his Bachelor of Psychology with Honours in 2015 at the University of Newcastle. Kaine has experience in Out of Home Care, Lifeline and the local and rural school and community settings, as well as being a University educator. Kaine has recently completed a Farm Care and Wellness Handbook for a support service in the Mid-North Coast called Sunny’s Place. This service provides mentorship and support to children and adolescence with disabilities and/or those who experience social-emotional challenges.

Kaine strives to learn, understand and support the stories people tell and aims to connect with clients to expand their sense of belonging among family and the broader community.
