Paula is a Registered Psychologist with 3 years of clinical experience. She completed her Master of Professional Psychology at the University of Newcastle in 2020. She is a registered Medicare Provider and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc.

Paula is passionate about working with children, young people and their families with a range of mental health and behavioural challenges. She is skilled in the assessment and treatment of a number of mental health presentations including depression, anxiety, stress, emotion regulation difficulties, anger and parenting difficulties. She is equally interested in and dedicated to working with clients who identify as being neurodivergent, delivering services to children and young people who are Autistic and/or have ADHD. Paula is also a proud LGBTQIA+ ally and enjoys works with gender diverse youth.

Paula aims to create a safe and therapeutic space while using a warm and client-centred approach. She prides herself on her ability to create an environment that is collaborative and tailored to the needs of the person that she is working with. Paula delivers evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness, whilst incorporating creative and play based techniques.

Paula works from a trauma-informed, attachment and strengths based, as well as a neuro-affirming approach. She is passionate about early intervention to ensure children and young people can reach their emotional, psychological and physical milestones they need to develop and thrive. She works collaboratively with families, schools and other health professionals to ensure the best outcomes for her clients.
