Early Childhood Connors Behavioural Rating Scale

Connors Comprehensive Behavioural Rating Scale (CBRS)

What: The CBRS is a comprehensive assessment of social and behavioural patterns for children.

Why: This assessment is useful for assessment of ADHD, oppositional behaviour/defiance, behavioural conduct problems, and childhood anxiety and depression.

How: The CBRS is completed online, you will be emailed the assessment links to complete within 48 hours of receiving payment. Set aside 30 minutes of uninterrupted time to complete the assessment. For children aged 6-11, we recommend purchasing two CBRS assessments for the parent/carer and teacher to complete. For children aged 12-17, we recommend purchasing three CBRS assessments for the parent/carer, teacher and themselves to complete. Results will be emailed to your treating psychologist to discuss at your next appointment.

Please note that the CBRS is a screening instrument only and cannot and should not be used alone to make a mental health diagnosis. It may however be used in obtaining a diagnosis, together with further assessments, professional observation of the client and/or information from other health professionals.

Description

Important Information about Online Assessments

There are natural limitations to psychometric measures with our online assessments, which means they are a screening instrument only and cannot and should not be used alone to make a mental health diagnosis. However, the scores from the assessments are an essential part of the process to obtain a diagnosis. A diagnosis is possible with the assessment results, together with a professional observation of a suitably qualified health professional (clinical psychologist, paediatrician, psychiatrist) to make a judgement regarding the appropriateness of a diagnosis. Further costs may be incurred for additional testing and assessments.

Life Matters Psychologists use third party software to conduct online assessments. Your basic contact details (name, date of birth and email) and assessment results are stored by these third party platforms. As part of Life Matters Psychologists Privacy Policy we ensure that your personal information stored on any of these third party platforms secure and comply with the Australian Standards for privacy and storage of medical information. If at any stage you would like your personal information removed, please inform us.
