“Spending time in the beauty of nature restores my whole being and nourishes me..”

– Simonette.

As a trauma-informed psychologist, Simonette has worked extensively supporting people who care for others. This has been done with individual support, going into workplaces and coaching managers and leaders about mental health and psychological safety.  Simonette is a compassionate and informed therapist who teaches self-care, mindfulness and compassion meditation to support those dealing with stressful life circumstances. She also practices EMDR (a psychotherapy treatment that aims to reduce distressing emotions associated with traumatic memories) compassion focussed CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) and Hypnotherapy. Simonette is an AHPRA BA psych Supervisor.

Simonette’s approach is led by listening deeply to each of the people she meets. She has listened to people share their struggles and demonstrate their courage in forging ahead. Simonette believes that fundamentally, all people (from all walks of life!) are simply striving to support their families and live meaningful lives.  Simonette is gifted in bringing people together where they feel safe to explore themselves inside – out, and share their life stories. To feel nourished and replenished from each encounter.

Simonette feels replenished when in nature and loves to move between the mountains and the ocean of NSW where she lives and works.
