What services do you offer?
We provide a range of evidence‑based psychological support in Newcastle, including individual therapy, couples and family counselling, assessments, and tailored treatment plans. Our approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in research to meet your unique needs.

Where are you located, and is there parking?
We are based in Hamilton, right near the train station and Beaumont St, with convenient street parking nearby. Most clients find the location easy to reach by car or public transport. Wheelchair access available.

How do I book an appointment?
Existing clients can book, reschedule and cancel online at any time via our Client Portal. New and existing clients can also contact our friendly Client Care during business hours weekdays. If you reach us outside of hours, please leave a message or email, and we’ll reply as soon as possible.

Do you offer Telehealth sessions?
Yes, we offer Telehealth sessions across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Region as well as Sydney and remote NSW. The same fees and eligibility for Medicare rebates applies as for in‑office appointments.

Do I need a GP referral to see a psychologist?
No referral is required to begin therapy privately with us. However, if you wish to access Medicare rebates under the Better Access initiative, please arrange a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP. Clients also come to us via our EAP Counselling programs covered by some employers.

What does a typical first session look like?
Your first session focuses on building rapport, discussing your concerns and goals, and creating a collaborative plan for treatment. We explain confidentiality and what to expect in therapy, ensuring you feel supported from the start.

What qualifications do your psychs have?
We have a range of Clinical, Registered and Provisional Psychologists. Our clinicians hold university degrees in psychology, postgraduate qualifications such as Master’s or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, extensive supervised training, and accreditation with AHPRA and the Australian Psychological Society.

How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies based on your goals and needs. Some clients find meaningful progress in a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. We regularly review progress and adjust your plan accordingly.
