Lydia is a warm and friendly Newcastle-based psychologist committed to supporting people to make informed decisions regarding their clinical status and treatment options. She has extensive experience in PTSD, GAD, ADHD, Emotion Regulation, ASD, DID and Bipolar Disorder, providing therapeutic treatment that includes CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing to increase clients’ wellbeing.

Lydia conducts both assessments and therapy sessions for NDIS, Workers Compensation and private clients – diagnosing for children, adolescence and adults from various cultures.

Lydia is currently completing a  PhD for prenatal resilience building intervention to reduce risk of birth related trauma. She likes to address medical, functional, vocational, social, and any other barriers that impact people from achieving their goals and living the life they want.

When she’s not supporting clients, Lydia can often be found spending time with family and friends, or relaxing on the couch in front of a gripping thriller or a new Netflix crime series.
